A WOMAN in her seventies who was caught drink-driving has been banned from the road.
Patricia Digby, aged 71, pleaded guilty to driving a Saab while over the limit in Horsley near her home on September 22.
According to the court register, she gave a reading of 53 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit being 35.
Digby, of Hay Lane, Horsley, pleaded guilty to drink-driving at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 10.
She was fined £403 and must also pay a £161 surcharge plus £85 - a total of £649.
A 14-month driving ban was imposed.
