A MAN from Stroud who boarded a train without a valid ticket faces a hefty court bill.
Shawn Ettery, aged 36, of Acre Street, Stroud, was caught without a train ticket at Bristol Temple Meads on June 1.
The case was heard in Ettery’s absence at Bristol Magistrates Court on October 14.
He was fined £220, ordered to pay £46.30 in compensation and pay an £88 surcharge plus £180 in costs - a total of £534.30, which must be paid by November 14.
