TRAFFIC has been at a standstill in Stroud this afternoon during rush-hour mayhem.
There are four way-traffic lights at Bowbridge junction with rush-hour congestion along London Road.
The road was at a standstill for motorists heading out of town from Waitrose roundabout.
A post from Gloucestershire Roads read: "Due to an issue discovered on the A419 Topps Tiles/Gunhouse Lane the four way traffic signals are suspended, replaced with four way temporary traffic signals.
"Our aim is to fast track repairs once investigated.
"We apologies for any inconvenience caused."
