THERE IS A drop in session at a building 'in the heart of Stroud' for members of the community to give their views
Between 10am and 3pm on Saturday, September 28 at St Laurence Church in the town centre, residents can give their views about the building.
Everyone welcome, first timers, regulars and visitors to the town.
St Laurence Church, right in the heart of Stroud and the oldest building in the town is now on the Heritage at Risk Register.
The Victorian church that extends from the medieval tower and spire, was built in 1868 and needs all the traditional fixings that a building in crisis needs.....roof, gutters, window repairs and a new floor.
Despite everything this is a busy and thriving centre where communities celebrate traditional and non traditional devotion, hold wonderful and inspiring events like Hidden Notes and The Festival of Wonder and celebrates the diverse faiths of the Stroud community in so many ways, not least by the famous Christmas Tree Festival.
It is a place for everyone and everyone has a voice here - come and support, have a cup of tea, enjoy a conversation about the church and stick stickers on the questions - nothing too difficult!
