A MEMBER of the royal family is due to visit a care home in the Stroud area next week.
Princess Anne will visit Horsfall House in Minchinhampton on Monday, September 30.
The visit will form part of the charity’s celebrations for its 30th anniversary this year.
Horsfall House includes a specialist nursing home for up to 44 residents, a day centre and a home care service.
The Princess Royal has been the charity’s patron since the site was built in 1994
The royal diary reads: “The Princess Royal, Patron, Minchinhampton Centre for the Elderly, will visit the Centre on the occasion of its Thirtieth Anniversary at Horsfall House, Windmill Road, Minchinhampton.”
