JEWELLERY entrepreneur Reena Gohil-Khetani has launched her brand-new store Surya Chamak at Five Valleys shopping centre in Stroud.
Reena decided to set up her own business after leaving a career in finance for a better work-life balance with her young family.
She has now launched her range of jewellery after taking on a unit in the busy mall area at Five Valleys, where her growing number of online customers can now see her curated selection.
Surya Chamak has built up a following at local fairs, pop-ups and markets as well as through online sales.
The new store opened at the weekend and can be found next door to Sports Direct and Sandersons with a range of styles, from timeless classics to more contemporary designs.
A special launch event with Reena’s family and friends took place on Saturday, September 7.
Reena said: “The response so far to Surya Chamak has been just fantastic, it is a dream come true to open my own store and I have had such a lovely welcome and great support from other businesses at Five Valleys and of course from customers.”
Centre Manager at Five Valleys, Erica Malpass, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming another new business to Five Valleys and to have such a brilliant response from customers.
“Surya Chamak brings something really different to the centre – we love working with local independent companies.
"It’s a busy and exciting time for the centre with a number of new businesses joining us in the coming weeks.”
The Kitchen Witch Cakery is also due to open later this month at Five Valleys as well as the popular street food business Los Cubanos.
