TWO Stroud town centre establishments plus one in Stonehouse High Street have received top food hygiene grades.
Brodys Bistro Bar in Stroud High Street and fish and chips outlet Simpsons in Bedford Street received the top five star grades after inspections on August 16 and August 6 respectively.
Pizza planet in Stonehouse High Street also received a five star rating after an inspection on August 13.
Hygiene ratings are scored from 0-5, with five being the highest.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority - they are not a guide to food quality.
The three areas which are inspected by a food safety officer are the food handling, the conditions of the facilities and the management of food safety.
Ratings are given on a score from 0-5, with five being the highest.
