A FAMILY-oriented fun day will take place in the centre of Stroud next week.
The Five Valleys summer fete will be held at the Stroud-based shopping centre on Friday, August 23, between 11am and 3pm.
There will be Punch and Judy shows throughout the day, free face painting, free balloon modelling, traditional side stall games, candyfloss and sweets, plus a tombola with some incredible prizes to be won kindly donated by businesses based in Five Valleys.
Kelly Winkworth, assistant centre manager, said: “This promises to be a fantastic day out so I would encourage as many people as possible to come along and have some fun.”
And the fun will continue into the evening as many of the food vendors including Indian street food vendor Namaste and meaty grill specialists The BBQ Society will be staying open until about 8pm for the popular Friday Night Food Market.
There will also be live music.
