BUS passengers can expect improvements to services soon.

Stagecoach West says improvements to a number of services in Stroud are due to come into effect from Sunday, September 1.

Following discussions with Gloucestershire County Council and thanks, in part, to funding provided by the UK Government, Stagecoach is making changes to its 65, 67 and 69 services.

Additional Sunday journeys will operate on Service 65, increasing the frequency between Dursley and Stroud Service 67 (Cashes Green – Stroud – Bussage) will see additional journeys, boosting service on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday daytimes.

The amended Service 620 will now run from Stroud to Bath, via Old Sodbury, combining both the previous 69 and 620 routes, with timings remaining unchanged.
