A PERSON was taken to hospital after a crash involving two vehicles on a busy road in Stroud, police say.
The collision involved an Audi and a Lexus on the A46 Painswick Road at Salmon Springs at around 1.10pm today, Thursday, August 8.
The road was temporarily closed but is now open, Gloucestershire Police say.
A police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A46 at Salmon Springs at around 1.10pm today.
“The collision involved an Audi and a Lexus.
“Nobody was believed to be seriously injured but one person was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution.”
In a statement, Stagecoach West said their 62, 66 and 166 services were delayed due to the closure.
Buses were temporarily diverted via Whiteshill and Paganhill, a spokesperson said.
