A HOTEL is set to add to its accommodation offering with a holiday cottage.
The Painswick, located in Kemps Lane in the town of Painswick, is opening the Cottage Suite adjacent to the hotel in August.
The Cotswold stone cottage has been fully refurbished and offers guests their own space with the added luxury of hotel services if desired.
The property sleeps up to six (including pets) and has three bedrooms, with the main bedroom featuring a roll top bath.
In all, there are two king-size beds and two single beds.
A large farmhouse-style table can be found in the dining room, and there is also a fully-equipped kitchen.
Luxury fluffy bathrobes, chef-made treats, complimentary WiFi and a flatscreen Sky TV are included.
The property is surrounded by valley and village views and also includes a cottage garden and a courtyard area equipped to clean muddy wellies and paws.
Originally built in the late 18th century, The Painswick was first known as Prospect House.
Renamed Gwynfa House in the 1950s, a new purpose was found for the property, serving as a bed and breakfast for weary travellers, before it evolved once more in the 1960s to become the Cranham Woods Hotel.
The Calcot Collection, which also includes the Calcot & Spa near Nailsworth, bought the property in the 2010s.
The cottage is available to book now from £549 per night.
A minimum four-night stay is required.
To celebrate the opening, the hotel is offering 25 per cent off four-night stays in August and September.
