A STEAKHOUSE chain has launched a menu that gives diners the opportunity to immerse themselves in the flavours of Mexico.
The new Inspired By Mexico offering from Bar + Block, which has restaurants in James Street West in Bath and King Street in Bristol, takes inspiration from the street food of Mexico City.
Guests can choose from chicken, fish, mushroom and pulled short rib tacos, with sides of corn on the cob and Mexican loaded skin-on chips also up for grabs.
A Mexican steak rub is available, and corn tortilla chips with guacamole and pico de gallo can be ordered as a small plate.
For dessert, there’s a churro dulce de leche sundae.
The Inspired By Mexico menu is available until November 6.
The steakhouse brand is also offering Tequila Thursdays with a two-for-one deal all day (excluding Scotland).
This includes a range of tequila cocktails made with el Jimador tequila.
Drinks include the Watermelon Salt Margarita and the Pink Paloma.
Tequila cocktails are also on offer on a two-for-one cocktails deal every day from 4pm to 8pm (excluding Scotland).
New shot-tails are available, while agua frescas provide a classic Mexican drink without any of the alcohol.
Mexican options can also be ordered within the restaurant chain’s bottomless brunch deals.
Bar + Block claims to provide “quality steaks with none of the traditional steakhouse stuffiness”.
“From classic cuts to more unexpected dishes, we’re on hand to serve up steak perfection,” the brand said on its website.
