IN A heart-warming display of intergenerational sportsmanship, 14-year-old Seb Coventry and 71-year-old Mitch Watkins have proven that age is just a number on the tennis court.

The unlikely pair, with a remarkable 57-year age difference, recently teamed up to represent Chalford Tennis Club's C team in the LTA Dunlop Men's Summer League.

In an impressive performance, they won both of their matches, capturing the attention and admiration of fellow club members and the local community.

Coventry, a rising young talent currently ranked No. 2 in the county for the 14 and under category, and Watkins, a seasoned player with decades of experience, demonstrate the inclusive nature of tennis and its ability to bring people of all ages together.
