AN appeal has been launched after electric bikes worth £10,000 were recently stolen in Ebley. 

Thieves stole two electric bikes from a van parked in Monkey Puzzle Close between 11pm on Wednesday, July 3 and 6am on Thursday, July 4.

According to a police community alert, one bike is a black Orbea, while the other is an off-white Lapierre Overvolt and has a giraffe print seat.

Speaking to the SNJ, Emma Deane has shared pictures of the two stolen bikes in hopes of recovering them.

She said: “We are desperately trying to find them as my son is quite poorly and depends on his bike for his health.”
