FOOTBALL FEVER is well and truly gripping Stroud as well as the nation.
The Five Valleys Shopping Centre hosted a full day of footy-themed fun just after the Euros kicked off.
Taking place in the courtyard area, those who took part tested their footy skills as part of the centre’s keepy uppy challenge.
Those taking part received medals and small prizes, with the overall winner taking home a trophy.
(Image: Five Valleys Shopping Centre) Kelly Winkworth, assistant centre manager, said: “Football fever is gripping the nation while the Euros are on and so we felt this would be the perfect event to help keep visitors entertained.
“It was great to see so many families gathering to enjoy a kick-about in the sunshine, which included penalty shoot-outs, dribbling practice and the popular ‘keepy-uppy’ challenge.”
