THIS stunning show home has opened at a new housing development in Quedgeley.
Taylor Wimpey Bristol has partnered with interior designers Claude Hooper to bring the Marford home to life at Taylor Wimpey’s The Quarters development.
The four-bedroom house demonstrates how the best family living solutions can be balanced with modern and on-trend design.
It has three large double bedrooms and a separate study room, as well as a spacious living and kitchen area.
The Quarters is a collection of 97 newbuild houses, with two, three and four-bedroom properties available to buy.
Commenting on the design process behind the Marford home, Claire Edge, senior designer at Claude Hooper, said: “When designing the home, it was important to consider the needs of a family in 2024: space to entertain, raise children and even work from home.
“This was the starting point for our work.”
When it came to the colour palette for the Marford, Claire wanted to ensure that there was a rich and sophisticated feel to the house, with extra pops of colour to add fun to each room.
“I wanted to make sure that the use of feature colours and paints as well as wallpapers work to create a cosy atmosphere in the bigger rooms, as well as giving each room its own personality,” she said.
The senior designer added: “Myself and the whole team worked really hard to make sure the home reflected the latest design trends, as well as being a space the Taylor Wimpey customers could envisage themselves living in.”
Rob Curry, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol, said: “We are really pleased to be welcoming visitors into our newly-completed Marford show home at The Quarters.
“Claire and the team at Claude Hooper have done a fantastic job of showcasing the functionality of the Marford home, as well as its charm as the perfect family home.
“We would encourage anyone who is interested in a family home or a home at The Quarters to come and take a look around today.”
