A SPECIALIST health centre in Stroud was put into lockdown for a short time earlier this morning.
Weavers Croft, which is near Stroud General Hospital in Field Road, was placed into lockdown for around 20 minutes, the Stroud News and Journal understands.
It has since reopened.
The SNJ understands that the incident was connected to an arrest made in the area of Waitrose in London Road, Stroud, where two police cars could be seen parked.
Weavers Croft is part of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and provides services including Complex Psychological Interventions and Managing Memory Together.
The SNJ has contacted the police for further comment.
