AN APPLICATION has been lodged to reopen a closed convenience store in Stonehouse.
An alcohol licence has been submitted to Stroud District Council as part of plans to take over a convenience store which closed in 2018.
If approved, alcohol could be sold from the store from 6am to 11pm every day.
The store would be located at Park Parade not far from the town's high street.
The applicant said: "I have taken over the premises to open a new convenience store.
"The store would be a great addition for local residents.
"I have over 10 years of experience in retail management.
"The store will have many choices of products plus other services such as parcels and bill payments."
Representations can be made in writing to SDC's Licensing Section until Tuesday, July 9.
