POLICE have launched a public appeal after a woman was seriously injured in a crash near Dursley.
Emergency services including an air ambulance attended the scene on the B4066 in Nympsfield on Monday afternoon, May 13
The vehicle - a blue Mini Cooper - left the road by the Bristol and Gloucestershire Gliding Club and then collided with a tree at around 13.35pm.
The driver - a woman in her 40s - was transported to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by air ambulance which was operated by the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
At the time of the incident, road closures were put in place and were eventually lifted at 5.15pm.
Officers are now hoping to speak to witnesses as part of their investigation.
A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Police said: "Officers would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage which they believe to be relevant."
