A KEY road in the Stroud area has been shut following a crash.

It is understood the B4066 near Nympsfield is currently closed after a crash, believed to have taken place near Bristol & Gloucestershire Gliding Club.

An air ambulance has been spotted at the scene. 

The AA traffic alert system shows the B4066 has been shut from Coaley Peak towards Selsley - it is believed Frocester Hill is still open. 

Gloucestershire Police have been approached for information. 

Stagecoach West said in a statement the 65 bus service is currently unable to stop in Selsley.
