WORKS in a key town centre road are set to last a week.
As of today, Wednesday, May 8 until Tuesday, May 14, works are being undertaken by National Grid in King Street, Stroud.
As seen in the photo, these works mainly affect pedestrians trying to walk on that side of King Street, although motorists have a slight incursion as they drive on their way to George Street.
A National Grid sign read :"We apologise for any inconvenience during these essential works to the electricity network."
