A HUGE LARDY cake was made at Halls Bakery on Saturday at their Stroud store.
The Halls bakery unit in King Street was recently revamped as the family-run bakery aimed to 'diversify' their range of products.
And an enormous lardy cake was made at the store on Saturday, with many Stroud residents being able to taste it.
Charlie Hall, manager of the Stroud branch, has thanked the familiar and new friends who joined them for this special occasion.
He said: "Our team worked tirelessly to create a delightful assortment of lardy cakes, each bursting with rich flavours.
"From traditional recipes to unique twists, there was something to satisfy every taste bud!
"We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces and new friends joining us for this special occasion.
"Thank you to everyone who came and made this event a huge success!
"Your support means the world to us, and we can't wait to continue surprising you with more exciting additions to our Stroud store."
