A MAN has been fined and banned after he was caught drink-driving in Stonehouse high street.
Andrew Birch, aged 52, of Sherborne Close, Stonehouse, was caught at nearly twice the limit in a Renault Clio on Thursday, March 7.
He had 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the limit is 35 - and no insurance.
Birch admitted both offences at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 9.
He was fined £120 and must pay £85 costs plus a £48 surcharge - a total of £253
He was banned from driving for 36 months.
