NEW SIGNS are in place in Stroud to help increase tourism in Stroud.
Stroud boasts a vibrant coffee culture, many independent shops, and cultural venues like the much-loved Sub Rooms as well as attractions nearby such as the Slad Valley, Sheepscombe, Bisley, and Rodborough in close proximity.
New signs have now been placed at key points throughout the town in order to help encourage more visitors to the area.
Stroud District Tourism Partnership Chair, Tony Davey said: "Our work in tourism tells us how many people often pass by our town, only eventually understanding all it has to offer.
"This internationally-recognised signage helps to frame the diverse offering of the town and to help encourage more to stop and enjoy this engaging historic market town and surroundings.
"With tourism spend an essential part of bolstering our local economy, this is a very positive and welcomed addition."
