STROUD's latest supermarket is set to open very soon.
Tesco Express will open a store in Merrywalks at the site of the former Halfords unit this week.
Signs have this week been put in place while work also continues inside the unit.
A Tesco spokesperson confirmed to the SNJ that the store will open on Thursday, February 22.
It is believed 20 new jobs will be created at the new store.
