A WEDDING catering company which was originally founded in Cam nearly 20 years ago has been handed a prestigious industry award.
Berry Blue Catering - which is now based in Stroud - has been named the South West regional winner in The Wedding Industry Awards.
The business was set up in 2003 by managing director Louise Brown with her husband after being inspired by their farm in Cam.
They say they aim to create delicious and inspiring dishes for big events by using local and seasonal produce.
The company caters for a number of venues in the Gloucestershire and Bristol area.
This includes Stinchcombe Hill House in Dursley, Melksham Court in Dursley, Milton End Barn in Arlingham, and The Hill in Stroud.
Louise Brown, Managing Director of Berry Blue said: “I am so excited to have won these
awards and I am so proud of our dedicated team.
“We pride ourselves on amazing customer service and fantastic food.
“Having started the business in 2005 when my husband and I moved to an old farm in Cam it is exciting to see how far the company has come!”
It was previously highly commended at the National Wedding Industry Awards last month.
Martin Christopher, Head of Food for Berry Blue added: “I am so proud of our team and our achievements.
"I look forward to another exciting year.”
