THE OPENING date for a new supermarket in Stroud has been revealed.
Tesco Express will open a store in Merrywalks at the site of the former Halfords unit in Merrywalks.
Signs have this week been put in place while work also continues inside the unit.
Dransfield Properties posted on social media that the store was to open on Thursday, February 15 however a Tesco spokesperson now says that the store will open on Thursday, February 22.
It is believed 20 new jobs will be created at the new store.
