A YOUNG woman has been charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and having no licence.
Alana Vickers, aged 18, of Partridge Close, Stonehouse, was due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Friday.
Vickers is charged with driving a Vauxhall Corsa with cannabis in her system and not having a valid licence on July 23 last year in the Street, Coaley.
She is alleged to have had 5.6 micrograms of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol-, a chemical found in cannabis - per litre of blood, which exceeds the legal limit.
