TWO MEN who were arrested following a crash near Tetbury which killed a 22-year-old girl have been released on police bail.
Grace Vater, aged 22, who was known to many as Gracie, died in hospital on Christmas Day from her injuries following a crash in Shipton Moyne near Tetbury on Saturday, December 23.
It is believed that Gracie fell off a quad bike which overturned on Whitehouse Lane shortly after 2pm.
She was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol and died two days later on Christmas Day.
Two men were arrested in connection with the incident.
The men, aged 29 and 30 and from the Cotswolds, have been released on police bail with conditions to return to police in February pending further inquiries.
Police have now revealed why the two men were arrested.
A police spokesperson said: "One of the men was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, the other was the same and he was also arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, driving while under the influence of drugs, no licence and no insurance."
