POLICE have issued an alert after a spate of crime across the Stroud area. 

Becky Lamb from Gloucestershire Police said in a community alert: “These are the incidents that have happened in your area from between 8am on December 6 and 8am December 7. 

“Please remember to lock your vehicles and double check they are locked. Don't leave valuables in your vehicles. 

“Please don't hesitate to call the police if you witness suspicious activity and dial 999 if you believe a crime is taking place.”

Brimscombe property targeted 

The glass on a back door was smashed at a property in Bourne Lane, Brimscombe at around 9.14pm on Wednesday, December 6.

A key safe was also smashed off the wall. However, it is understood nothing was stolen. 

Anyone with information should contact police using incident number 437 December 6.

Car on Bisley Road targeted

A car was broken into on Bisley Road, Stroud at 4.10am on Tuesday, December 5. 

No damage was caused to the vehicle but a Nintendo DSI and a dash cam were stolen. 

Anyone with information should contact police quoting incident number 112 December 6.

Car in Rodborough targeted

Money and medication was stolen from an unlocked car parked in Walkley Hill, Rodborough between 6pm on Sunday, December 3 and 8am on Monday, December 4. 

It is understood no damage was caused to the vehicle. 

Anyone with information should contact police quoting incident number 266 December 6.

Car in Mason Road targeted

Cash was stolen from a car parked in Mason Road, Stroud on December 4. 

Anyone with information should contact police quoting incident number 462 December 6.
