A WARNING has been issued after a vehicle was ransacked in Stroud last night.

Reading glasses and money were stolen from an unlocked vehicle which was parked in Mason Road, Stroud on Tuesday night, December 5. 

Police would like to hear from anyone who has any further information about the incident.

Information can be provided by completing a form on Gloucestershire police's website by quoting incident 81 of December 5. 

Eliza Gabb, from Gloucestershire Constabulary's Neighbourhood Watch Crime Prevention Team, said: "Please be sure to securely lock vehicles at all times and to remove valuables.

"Please don't hesitate to call the police if you witness suspicious activity and always dial 999 if you believe a crime is taking place.
