A MAGICAL Christmas light show in the area has returned.

Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, has now launched ahead of the festive period.

This year’s light trail provides an immersive, multisensory experience for everyone, with the stars of the show one of the most beautiful and important collection of trees in the world, proudly on show in spectacular illuminated style.

This trail is on selected evenings from now until Saturday, December 23.

Zoe Tyler, event manager at Westonbirt says: “We’re up and running with Enchanted Christmas, opening tonight!

"This is one of our favourite events here at Westonbirt, now in its twenty-sixth year.

"Our traditional night-time illuminated adventure will appeal to both children and adults, with the trees lit up enchantingly and with plenty of interactive and festive fun to be enjoyed along the way!”

Tickets are available through advance booking only, and can be booked by visiting Forestryengland.uk/westonbirt/enchanted-christmas

Soak up some seasonal cheer in the Christmas Village and enjoy festive food and drink from local food carts, selling seasonal food from 4pm - 9pm, along with all the fun of traditional fairground rides.

Relaxed sessions are on offer on Saturday, November 25 and Saturday, December 2 between 4 and 5pm.

At this time the trail is adapted to suit those with additional needs, such as autism, when strong flashing lights, loud sound effects and smoke effects will be temporarily deactivated.
