Police have issued an alert following an incident in Stroud yesterday.
An unlocked car, which was parked in Kingscourt Lane, Stroud, was entered - although nothing was taken.
The offender was wearing a black puffer jacket and a beanie hat.
Police say the incident took place at 10.30pm on Wednesday, November 15.
Information can be provided by completing a crime information form on the Gloucestershire police website, quoting incident number 457 of November 15.
