A NEW monthly market is coming to Stroud.
A new monthly vegan food market will be held at the Cornhill square every last Sunday of the month starting beginning on January 27.
It will run from 10am to 3pm and will be open to any type of food or craft business which adheres to vegan principles.
It is being run by Fresh-n-Local Markets, the organisers of Stroud farmers’ market.

Fresh-n-Local has also announced details of its festive markets in Stroud.
The traditional Christmas markets at the Cornhill are now entering their tenth consecutive year.
They run from Wednesday, December 20 to Friday, December 22 running up to the final farmers’ market of the year on December 23.
Some stalls are still available for these popular events, although not the Saturday.
In a new opportunity for Stroud-based arts and craftmakers in the Five Valleys, there will be three Saturday indoor markets taking place in the Baptist Hall in Union Street in December to run alongside the farmers’ market.
These markets are specifically aimed at Stroud’s huge number of artists and makers and will run on the following Saturdays - December 9,16 and 23.
These markets will be strictly limited to 12 stalls within the main hall and will only be open to Stroud based artists and craftspeople.
