A NEW DISPLAY adorns the outside of Christ Church in Nailsworth.
Members have created a cascade of poppies in the church alongside a silhouette of a soldier standing at a grave.
The church garden is also full of poppies with all of the poppies knitted or made several years ago by local people for use within the town.
They have been reused to create this new display.
Christ Church minister, Rev Esther Mason said: "In this time where there is so much conflict around the world, we felt it was important to create the display as a reminder of the human cost of war.
"We honour the memory of those who died in war, by seeking peace."
The church is open at various times in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday for anyone to visit and spend time in quiet reflection or prayer.
