Musical pioneers Nile Rodgers & CHIC will headline the Forest Live 2024 event at Westonbirt Arboretum on Friday, July 12.
Nile Rodgers is a rock and roll hall of fame inductee and a multiple Grammy award-winning songwriter, composer, producer, arranger and guitarist.
As the co-founder of CHIC, Nile pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits like Le Freak and sparked the advent of hip-hop with Good Times and Rapper’s Delight.
Forest Live is an annual British music festival organised by Forestry England which takes place in seven forest venues across the UK including Cannock Chase Forest, Dalby Forest, Delamere Forest, High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Sherwood Pines and Westonbirt Arboretum.
Disco legends Nile Rodgers & CHIC will bring the ultimate party to the arboretum in July with support from British singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor and 80s inspired contemporary pop band Deco.
Forestry England uses the money raised by the Forest Live events to maintain the beautiful natural areas for everyone to enjoy, to run important conservation projects and to grow more trees.
