POLICE have issued an update on a crash which occurred in Stroud town centre yesterday.
Yestrerday morning, Russell Street was closed following an incident involving two cars near the post office and the Lord John.
At lunchtime, the road was reopened.
A police spokesperson said: "There was a two-vehicle collision on Russell Street which was reported to police at around 8.35am on Saturday.
"Closures were put in place while emergency services were at the scene and one of the drivers was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by paramedics."
