A MAN from Nailsworth who failed to provide information to the police when required has been ordered to pay £1,000.
Wayne Danewood, aged 59, of Upper Tynings, Nailsworth, failed to provide information concerning the identity of a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence.
Danewood failed to identify a Volkswagen driver who was alleged to have committed a traffic offence on the A4173 at Brookthorpe on March 4.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates' on September 19.
He was fined £660 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £264 plus £90 in costs - a total of £1,014.
Six penalty points were also added to his licence.
