SEVERN TRENT has issued an update on water supply issues across Stroud.

As of yesterday afternoon, properties in areas such as Paganhill, Whiteshill, Randwick, Edge, Cranham have all been affected by water supply issues.

Just before 3am this morning, Severn Trent issued the following update: "Our engineers are still working super hard to get your water flowing normally again, however the repairs are proving to be trickier than we first expected."

And at 8.10am this morning, they added the following: "As promised, we’d like to provide you with an update on the situation and let you know that our teams have completed all the repair work.

"You should start to see the water pressure in your area rebuild now that the main is recharging and you should slowly see it begin to restore by 12PM.

"You’re likely to see our tankers out and about during this time, this is nothing to worry about as they’ll be supporting whilst we work by pumping extra water around the network of pipes.

"We’re really sorry if this causes any inconvenience on your journeys today.

"Thank you for continued patience whilst our teams work hard to get your supplies restored, we really do understand how much of an impact this may be having."
