A Stroud man charged with driving an Audi on the M5 while on cocaine is due in court tomorrow, Thursday.
Michael Chatfield, aged 37, of Bowbridge Lock, Stroud, faces two charges.
He was allegedly driving an Audi A5 on the M5 northbound near Stroud on March 4 with cocaine in his system.
Chatfield is charged with driving while the proportion of cocaine in his system was 11 micrograms per litre of blood.
He is also charged with driving while the proportion of benzoylecgonine - a metabolite of cocaine - in his blood was 786 micrograms per litre.
He is due at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Thursday.
