A BMW driver who drove while under the influence of cocaine and ecstasy has been banned from the road for two years.
Elliot Leonard, aged 25, of Gloucester Street, Stroud, was caught by police in a BMW 320D SE while over the limit for benzoylecgonine, a form of cocaine, as well as ecstasy in Slad Road on January 29 this year.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 3.
Leonard was banned from driving for 24 months.
He was fined £125 and ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a £114 victim's surcharge - bringing the total to £324.
A community order was also imposed.
