A MAN has been banned and fined for failing to identify the driver of an Audi who was alleged to have driven without due care and attention in Stroud.
Elliott Leonard, aged 25, of Open House, Gloucester Street, Stroud, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 2.
A charge of failing to identify the driver of an Audi A5 who was alleged to have driven without due care and attention in Bath Road, Stroud on September 29 last year was proved in his absence at a hearing last month.
Leonard was fined £135 and must pay a £54 victim surcharge and £40 in costs - meaning he must pay a total of £229.
He was also banned from driving for six months.
Charges of driving an Audi A5 without due care and attention and without insurance in Bath Road, Stroud on September 29 were withdrawn.
