A 63-year-old man was THREE times the alcohol limit while in charge of a vehicle on one of Stroud's main roads.
Nigel Hathaway was caught in a Renault Kangoo in Cainscross Road, Stroud on January 20.
He gave a reading of 105 microgames of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit being 35 microgames.
Hathaway, of Splatt Bridge, Frampton-on-Severn, admitted the offence at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 1.
He was fined £250 and ordered to pay a £100 victim services plus £85 costs.
The total of £435 must be paid by August 29.
Hathaway was also given 10 penalty points.
