SEVERAL SCHOOLS will be closed across Gloucestershire this week due to industrial action. 

Teacher members of the National Education Union (NEU) are due to go on strike in schools across England in an ongoing pay dispute.

Schools across the region will be affected - here is a list on the Gloucestershire County Council website with the schools due to be closed.

Archway School - July 5 -  Archway School will only be open for vulnerable students, students with EHCPs and those students of critical workers who have requested assistance.

Students in Years 7 to 12 will be provided with online work where possible.

Berkeley Primary School - July 5 - Partially closed. Years 1, 3 and 4 will be closed. 

July 7 - Partially closed. Years 1, 3 and 4 will be closed.

Chosen Hill School - July 5 - School will be open to students in Years 10 and 12, along with a small group of invited students.

For all other year groups, work has been set on ClassCharts and on the website, under the Remote Learning pages.

Cleeve School - July 5 - Partially closed. Cleeve School will be open for students in Years 7 and 9 only.

All students in Years 8, 10 and 12 will work at home, with the exception of a small number of vulnerable students who will be on the school site.

Online lessons will be delivered via Microsoft Teams if the teacher is available, otherwise work will be set for students to work independently.

Coaley C of E Primary School- July 5. Partially closed. Coaley school will be closed to Starlings Class on Wednesday, July 5 and Friday, July 7.

Owls and Robins classes will be open as usual.

Elmbridge Primary School July 5 - Partially closed. School will be partially closed to specific classes as outlined in the letter sent to parents today.

Foxmoor Primary School July 5 - Partially closed. Due to industrial action the following classes will be closed: Class 1 (Reception) Class 2 (Year 1) Class 4 Year 2)

Kemble Primary School July 4 - Closed as disruption to water supply due to Thames Water carrying out works.

Minchinhampton Primary Academy - July 5. Partially closed. Aqua, Cyan, Teal and Azure classes will be closed on due to the strikes. All other classes and Nursery will be open.

July 7 - Partially closed. Indigo, Aqua and Cyan classes will be closed on Friday due to the strikes. All other classes and Nursery will be open.

Pittville School - July 5. Partially closed. The school will remain open to all Year 10 students on both days, 5th and 7th July.

Work will be provided for students in Years 7, 8 and 9 for both days and this will be loaded onto Year Group TEAMS which can also be accessed via Edulink.

Rednock School - July 5. Partially closed. The school will be open for students in Year 8 and for all students with an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan).

It will be closed to all other students.

July 7 - Partially closed. The school will be open for students in Year 10 and for all students with an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan).

It will be closed to all other students.

Severn Vale School - July 5. Partially closed. The school will be open for the following students: Year 7 and Year 8 only. Year 10 students are on their work experience. Y9 students have been asked to remain at home where they can access work set online via Satchel One.

July 7 - Partially closed. It will be open for the following students: Year 7,8 and 9 only (Sports Day will go ahead as normal). Year 10 students are on work experience. Any students at home can access work set online via Satchel One.

St James & Ebrington C of E Primary School - July 5. Partially closed. The school will be partially closed. The following classes will be closed: JC1, JC2, JC3, JC4 and JC5.

St. Paul's C of E Primary School - July 5. The school will be partially closed to specific classes as outlined in the letter sent to parents. Phase 1 Earth and Phase 3 Water remain open.
