THE Eastcombe Gnome Hunt returns this weekend.
Organised in aid of Eastcombe Primary School, it runs on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm
The trail starts at the school with maps at £3 - and every completed map wins a prize.
It is sponsored by Sawyers Estate Agents (Incorporating Fine & Country).
Sawyers branch manager Clive Brown said: "We here at Sawyers Fine & Country are delighted to announce that this year’s annual Eastcombe School Gnome Hunt is once again taking place.
"Come and support our amazing local school by walking round the beautiful village hunting for gnomes. Maps can be purchased from the starting point located at Eastcombe Primary School for £3 and then just follow the route and enjoy. How many gnomes can you spot along the way?
"The route finishes at the village hall, where you can collect your prize gnome and enjoy refreshments.
"There will be tea, coffee, soft drinks plus lots of tasty homemade cakes and delicious ice creams to enjoy on the day, plus tombola, raffle, stalls and more. Cash and card payments accepted.
"The children at Gnome HQ are very excited and have been busy making sure the gnomes are dressed to impress for the big weekend. We are all really looking forward to seeing the village full of life, but we do ask all visitors to
respect our lovely community."
