THERE are four road closures for motorists in Stroud to be aware of in the upcoming weeks.
Two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 8pm on Monday, February 20 to 6am on Saturday, June 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 11A to 13 lane closures for barrier works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 9pm on Wednesday, May 31 to 6am on Friday, June 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 13 to 14 - lane closures for sensor maintenance works.
• M5, from 9pm on Wednesday June 7 to 5.59am on Thursday, June 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, Gloucester Services closed for road markings renewal.
• M5, from 10pm on Wednesday, June 7 to 6am on Friday, June 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 14 exit slip road closure for electrical work, diversion to junction 13 and return.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
