NAILSWORTH Festival kicked off in the sun as the annual event returned to the town.
The week-long festival which began on Saturday, May 20 runs until Sunday, May 28.
Saturday's entertainment included folk music, circus tricks and country blues in Mortimer gardens.
On the weekend there was also a sports festival, art exhibition and a fancy dress competition.
Upcoming events this week include a talk by the BBC's Ajay Tegala, a poetry competition and an archaeological walk.
