PLANS for a 17 metre 5G mast near Stroud were rejected.
The application was submitted to Stroud District Council in March.
Yesterday, Tuesday, a decision was made for the 5G mast which would have been at a verge off London Road in Brimscombe.
"The monopole, by virtue of the size, design and location would appear as an intrusive and unduly prominent addition that would be harmful to the character and appearance of the adjacent industrial heritage conservation area setting," read a statement published by the case officer yesterday.
"The public benefit of the proposal does not outweigh the visual harm."
