A TRADITIONAL country pub near Stroud has received a new hygiene grade.
The Oak, Painswick has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene after assessment on February 3, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority - they are not a guide to food quality.
It means that of Stroud's 96 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 65 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
