A BUSINESS OWNER in Stroud said they are delighted with 'how trade is going' following a relocation.

Last May Zia Nixon brought the flavours of sweet bubble tea to Five Valleys indoor market with her business, The Sweet Peach.

The business has now recently relocated to a more prominent new unit at the heart of the indoor market area opposite Armadeli.

Stroud News and Journal:

The Sweet Peach is known for its bubble tea drinks, which consist of iced flavoured tea accompanied by chewy tapioca balls to give the fruity beverage an extra pop.

These sweet drinks offer foodies and shoppers something completely unique, combining a drink with a dessert.

The drinks are also vegan friendly, appealing to all customers.

Zia Nixon, business owner, said: “It is coming up to the business’s first birthday and I am really happy with how things are going.

"Trade is going better than expected and I have a great loyal customer base which has allowed me to expand my menu, introducing so many new flavours.

“This relocation has been great for me as I am now situated in the centre of the market.

"I hope my customers like the new counter display I’ve been able to introduce and for those who haven’t tried a bubble tea yet, I look forward to seeing you soon.”

The business started out with just 15 flavours and since then the range has doubled in size, now offering over 30 different flavours for people to choose from.

Jack Simpson, Centre Manager at Five Valleys, said: “Sweet Peach is very popular with our shoppers and visitors and this new location puts The Sweet Peach right in the centre of the hustle and bustle of the market.”

The Five Valleys Market, inspired by London's award winning Borough Market, is home to 20 indoor market stalls with a line up of food and drink producers including House of Piri, Knight’s Artisan Butchers, BBQ Society and the new Noodle Bar.
